Sometimes therapy isn’t what you need
Oct 29, 2026Hi lovebug,
Last time I talked about how sometimes when you’re trying to heal from something, doctors can only help so much.
That’s why alternative healing can be so important. Sometimes it’s not just our bodies that need healing.
Sometimes our bodies are like canaries in the coal mine chirping away that something in our lives is off.
The same goes for therapy.
Now you know that I LOVE therapy. I think the world would be a better place if everyone explored their own inner world under the gentle care of a therapist.
And…
Sometimes talking about whatever is bothering you with a therapist isn’t actually what you need to feel better.
A lot of the time, you need to DO something differently.
You need to apply for a new job, stop compulsively shopping, clear up an especially painful memory, stand up for yourself, break up with your toxic partner, move to a new city, take space from your parents… you get the idea.
And you can talk and talk and talk about that with your therapist for YEARS, but if you don’t DO something differently outside of those therapy sessions, what’s the point?
The work I do fills that gap between talking about what you need to do and actually doing something about it.
How?
Because we focus on the root cause of WHY you can’t get yourself to do the thing you need to do, and then we clear the trapped emotions that keep you from taking action—until you’ve made the move.
That’s why the women who work with me for a year experience some pretty HUGE life changes. And often, these are women who have already spent YEARS in therapy trying to move forward. I'm talking about things like...
- Landing a director-level position and making more money than she EVER has in her 30-year career.
- Having her highest-grossing year EVER after 10 years in business.
- Finally finding the courage to leave a corporate job and start her own business after YEARS of wanting to make the leap but never quite being able to pull the trigger.
- And the number of women who have finally chosen THEMSELVES and walked away from unhappy relationships? That list just keeps growing and growing.
And these aren't little shifts. These are the kinds of changes that completely transform the direction of someone's life.
Most of the big transformations come from FREEING up the energy that’s been focused on trying to revive a dying relationship.
But even if you’re not looking to exit your relationship, I bet there’s one thing you’ve been wanting to change about your life, but you just haven’t been able to.
Well, it’s time.
Blink and it’ll be five years from now.
Do you want to look back on that time and see how much your life has changed for the better?
Or do you want to wake up like it’s Groundhog Day five years from now?
