it was…“the best holiday break ever”

energy work self care Jan 12, 2026

Hey lovebug!

How was your holiday?

A number of my clients have told me—and I quote—they had “the best holiday break ever.”

I’m thinking of two clients in particular and they have some interesting differences.

One met me and signed up to work with me straight away.

The other met me and then took two years before she decided it was time to start healing.

One sits and does her intensive work all day.

The other is constantly up and on the move.

The thing they have in common is that they both have a really hard time relaxing into the moment and just enjoying their life.

Like, it’s HARD for them.

They both go go go in their own separate ways.

So what did they do?

  1. They stopped taking things so seriously. They enjoyed the moment.
  2. They stopped trying to be perfect. They didn’t need to have the perfect Christmas with the perfect tree and the perfect magic set up with the perfect gifts. They let it be.
  3. They leaned into softness. It's an annoying thing to realize but we can make our lives hard or soft with our daily decisions and also (!) with the way we hold our bodies. (are you tensing right now as you read this?)
  4. They both invest time and money working on themselves. These women are BUSY. They have families and businesses and spouses and big goals and teams who depend on them. AND—they know that if they take care of themselves, EV-erything will be easier. Their home life. Their work life. Their marriage. Their relationships with their kids. And, the memories they want to create, like holidays.

It’s easy to think that we can muscle through life on our own, without outside healing and without outside support.

But the truth is that we need other people to help hold us up. Goodness knows I do! I spend so much money on people who help me grow and heal and change and reflect. It’s an absolute non-negotiable.

When I sign up with a new coach I tell them that I am going to be their next success story.

I love doing that because it plants the seed in my mind (and in theirs) that the success has already happened. I’m convinced that it’s already done.

Then it’s my job (and theirs) to help me make it there.

And that’s what I do with my clients.

So—are you ready to be my next success story? (Honestly, the energy work we do makes it so easy for you to succeed, that your main job is to commit to the process and show up. For real.)

I can’t wait to see which one of you is ready to make your life better this year.
