It’s Time to Stabilize Your Energy

anxiety energy work meditation May 12, 2025

Hey lovebug,

Okay, so this feels familiar.

Back in 2020, I wrote a blog post about what to do when everything felt uncertain. It was during the pandemic, when politics were wild and no one knew what was coming next.

Now, here we are again—except this time, it’s the economy and, well… still the politics.

I’ve been hearing the same thing from lots of clients lately:

“I feel nervous. I don’t know what’s coming. I feel off.”

That kind of uncertain energy? I call it the “squiggly feeling.”

You know what I mean. It’s that twisty, tense feeling in your body. Like your insides are bracing for something—even if you’re not sure what.

Your body might tense up, your breath gets shallow, and you can’t really focus. It’s like your whole system is trying to stay on high alert.

It’s not fun. At all.

So what do you do when the world feels wobbly and your nervous system is panicking?

First, let’s take a breath. Right now.

Feel the chair or couch underneath you.

Notice if you’re clenching your jaw—try opening and closing your mouth a few times.

Look around and take in your space. Remind yourself: I’m safe right now.

Exhale. Slowly.

Let your shoulders drop.

Melt a little, just for a moment.

Feel a tiny bit better?

If not, scroll back up and do that again. I’ll wait.

These grounding steps help you return to the present moment—where things are okay.

When you can ground your energy, you remember: I can handle this.

And when you really trust yourself, the fear of the future starts to quiet down.

That trust changes everything.

One of the best ways I know to build that self-trust?
Meditation.

But not just any kind of meditation. I’m talking about the kind that feels gentle, loving, and actually doable.

Meditation that connects you to your spirit.

Meditation that makes you want to come back again and again.

I just finished teaching my course, Meditation Magic, live—and wow.

Students came in feeling scattered and unsure.

They left grounded, confident, and way more connected to themselves.

And it only took four weeks.

Even if you missed the live round, you can still join the course here.

It’s set up so you feel like you’re part of the group, learning alongside everyone else.

So if you’ve been feeling anxious…

If the future feels shaky…

If you’ve been meaning to meditate but haven’t started yet…

Now’s a beautiful time to begin.

Try Meditation Magic today, and watch your world begin to shift.

Until next week,

Rebecca*
