I used to think I was clumsy

Hi lovebug,

I’ve had a cell phone for… mmm… *squints and looks up* … sixteen years? Something like that.

And I used to drop my phone ALL the time.

My sisters jokingly said I had no grippies on my fingertips because my phone would, LEGITIMATELY, fall to the ground five times a day. Sometimes two to three times in a span of moments.

I started thinking to myself…

Why can’t I hold onto my damn phone?

Is this some kind of subconscious rejection of technology?

Everybody else can hold onto their phone…

My friend David’s phone doesn't have a scratch on it and mine is all dinged up and scratched.

What is wrong with me?!

Then one day, my sister used my phone to take a picture and she was like, “Whoa! Your phone case is so slippery! How do you hold onto this thing?”

Huh.

So. I decided to buy a silicone case. Nice. Ocean blue. Reviews said it had a good grip.

And you know what happened?

I stopped dropping my phone.

It may seem obvious to you, but I had been buying slippery phone cases and calling myself clumsy for years!

YEARS.

When all I needed was a better phone case.

We do this to ourselves in all kinds of situations.

We date someone who’s mean to us. We decide that we’re the problem, that we’re doing something wrong. And then a friend says, “Whoa girl. Why are you dating someone who’s so mean to you?”

And we think, “OH WAIT. I’m not doing anything wrong?!”

Yep. Happens all the time.

So stop and think for a moment.

Where is there an area of your life where you are blaming yourself for the issue?

Where have you decided that you are wrong?

Where are you living in a vacuum without anyone else’s insight or opinion — so much so that you don't realize that you’re suffering?

One of the things I love about my work is helping women find their power, stop abandoning themselves and live a life that feels freaking fantastic.

A lot of times that happens by leaving a relationship that is no longer aligned for them.

If you’re in a position where you need to exit your relationship, but you’re stuck, I’ve got great news for you.

I just finished filming a course that will help you with the thoughts and emotions that are keeping you from taking action. It’s part coaching, part permission, part pep-talk and part energy work.

And that energy work bit is what makes it really special because it changes the way you see yourself. ♥ļø¸

I’m so excited to share it with you.

If you’re interested in being notified when it comes out, you can get on the waitlist here.

And if you're in a place where you don’t want to wait for a course, I’ve got single session spots available. We can start working on your stuff right away.

Remember, there’s nothing wrong with you, you might just need to make some different choices.

Hugs,

Rebecca*
