Snag over 30 bite sized lessons that calm your nervous system so you can finally trust your gut about your relationship.

Without another pro/con list, another year of waiting for them to change, or worrying about what everyone else will think.

I'm Ready to Get Unstuck

This course will help you:

  • Stop flip-flopping between "I love them" and "this isn't working" so you can get your bandwidth and your mental space back.
  • Calm the fear of hurting someone, making a mistake, or being alone so you can finally hear what your soul has been telling you.
  • Know exactly what to say to your partner, whether that's "I want a break," "I want a separation," or "I want this to work," so the conversation happens calmly instead of in the middle of a fight.
  • Decide how long you're willing to wait for them to change so you stop putting your own happiness on hold indefinitely.

Who it's for

This course is for women who know something is wrong in their relationship but aren't sure if it's time to go. You might be:

  • Married or partnered for years (maybe 10, 15, or 25) and wondering if this is just how it's going to be.
  • The one doing all the work: the therapy, the books, the conversations, while your partner does little or nothing.
  • Stuck on "what if they finally change?" after years of promises that haven't happened.
  • Worried about the kids, the pets, the house, your family, or what everyone will think.
  • Someone who has heard her intuition say "not this one" and keeps talking herself out of it.
  • Considering a break or trial separation but have no idea how to bring it up.

Who it's not for

This course isn't designed for women in overtly abusive relationships. If you don't feel safe at home, please reach out to a domestic violence advocate or a licensed therapist first. National Domestic Violence Hotline, 1-800-799-7233.

Take Me From Stuck to Sure

I've been there. Three times.

I've been in three major relationships: seven years, six years, and one that just kind of kept on going for about four. Every one of those people was great. I loved them. And they still were not right for me.

I knew it early every time. In the first one, I knew within three months. In the second, my partner asked me to marry them at five years. I was completely shocked, because I didn't want to get married. I said no, and then spent the sixth year of that relationship spending enormous amounts of time, energy and money trying to figure out what was wrong with me. In the most recent one, by month 10 I had an intuitive voice in my head saying, "This is not the right relationship for you."

I stayed anyway. Every time. I went back and forth and back and forth for years. My body was saying, "No, thank you." I had property with these people. I had pets with these people. And I'm a big feeler, so I felt all of it.

What I finally saw was that I was listening to what I thought everybody else wanted me to do. I was prioritizing everyone else's needs and opinions over my own. Everybody knew more than me. I trusted them more than I trusted myself.

I had so much stress, and I'd had so many bad experiences with therapists that I didn't feel comfortable talking to one. I needed to feel better. So I learned tapping, and I started doing some healing and some work on myself: learning to trust myself and figure out what I really wanted.

Now I'm single and happy. My ex and I have shared custody of our sweet dog Mabel for 12 years. I wish I'd had somebody to help me back then. I could have saved so much time and money and energy and heartbreak, for the other person and for me. So I get it. I know how hard it is. That's why I feel like I can walk you through this confidently inside The Good Girl's Guide to Breakups.

PRIORITY #1: GET OFF THE FENCE

We start by taking the shame out of being stuck, then look honestly at whether you've tried everything, with a simple gut check that shows whether you want to keep working on it or you're done. We're not gonna shame you or bully you about your indecision.

PRIORITY #2: RELEASE THE FEAR OF HURTING SOMEONE

We look at where you learned that it was okay for you to suffer but not anyone else, and clear the guilt that keeps you putting everyone else first. Of course you don't want to hurt anyone. But I also don't want you to hurt anymore.

PRIORITY #3: STOP FEARING THE WRONG CHOICE

We clear the need to be 100% certain, and explore a middle step if you're not ready to decide: a trial separation. Because the regret I hear most from the women I work with isn't "What if I made a mistake?" It's "Why didn't I do this sooner?"

PRIORITY #4: LET GO OF WAITING FOR THEM TO CHANGE

We look honestly at the potential you saw and the promises that were made, then decide how long you're willing to wait. How much of your life do you want to spend waiting?

PRIORITY #5: STOP LIVING FOR EVERYONE ELSE'S APPROVAL

We quiet the voices of family, friends and neighbors, so the decision is yours. What's right for you will eventually be right for everyone else.

PRIORITY #6: RELEASE THE FEAR OF ENDING UP ALONE

We clear the fear that no one else will want you, and open up the many ways a happy life can look. I am positive, 100% positive, that you are a catch.

PRIORITY #7: PROTECT THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE

We work through your fears for your partner, your kids and your pets, and how to handle it in a way that's kind to everyone, including you. The only thing you can control is your actions. And you can be kind and clear.

PRIORITY #8: FIND THE WORDS AND TRUST YOURSELF

We clear the fear of the hard conversation, give you calm, word-for-word scripts for it, and help you trust yourself to take the next step. It can work out better than you expect.

The Hard Conversation Scripts

Calm, kind, word-for-word openers for a breakup, a divorce, or a trial separation, plus guidance on timing (not on a birthday, not on a holiday, and not four days before Thanksgiving). ($47 value)

Everyone tells you that if you just think it through long enough, you'll know what to do.

So you go back and forth and back and forth. You read the self-help books (and you're the only one reading them). You try couples therapy. You wait for things to improve. You cross your fingers and hope that maybe this time your partner will get it together.

And you're still stuck, because it's our emotions that feed our thoughts. Our emotions work together to make us feel crazy and not know what we want. Your brain is going to argue both sides and drive you crazy.

The fear of hurting someone. The fear of making a mistake. The fear of what everyone will think. Your head can mess with you, even your heart can mess with you, but your soul knows.

That's why The Good Girl's Guide to Breakups doesn't start with your thoughts. It starts with your emotions, because when it gets calmer and quieter, you can hear what your soul is saying.

Yes, I'm on Team Me

One of my clients knew on her wedding day that something was off. She went through with it anyway: too many guests, too much money spent. Fifteen years and two kids later, she was miserable.

Another client spent 25 years waiting for her husband to get a job. He promised every time they got back together.

Both of them were doing what so many of us were taught to do: putting everyone else first and waiting for things to change. The first realized that every single woman in her family had abandoned themselves for the man in their life. The second finally asked herself, "What am I doing? This is ridiculous. It's been 25 years."

When they each made their decision, the first felt a huge wash of relief, so liberated, so free. Now she and her ex are great co-parents, and she has a partner who meets her where she is. The second filed for divorce and felt totally free.

Inside The Good Girl's Guide to Breakups, I'll help you clear the same fears, so you don't have to wait 15 or 25 years to trust yourself.

Meet Your Guide

Hey, I'm Rebecca.

Let's be real: being in a place of indecision in a relationship can be freaking exhausting. It can take all of your bandwidth, all of your mental space, and it can tie you in knots.

I know because I've done it three times. Every one of those partners was a good person I loved. And every time, my body and my intuition said "no, thank you," and I stayed for years anyway. I put everyone else's needs and opinions above my own and trusted them more than I trusted myself.

The whole reason I learned tapping was because I had so much stress, and I didn't feel comfortable talking to a therapist because I'd had so many bad experiences with therapists. I needed to feel better. Tapping calms your system down so you can think more clearly, and when it gets calmer and quieter, you can hear what your soul is saying.

Now I'm single and happy, and my ex and I have shared custody of our dog Mabel for 12 years. We have such a great friendship. I've worked with a lot of women who have been in very intense, long-term marriages, with kids and property and businesses, and every single one of them is so much happier now, because they were just out of alignment.

And here's my promise: I'm on Team You. If you decide to stay, great. If you decide to leave, awesome. I don't have skin in the game either way. Inside The Good Girl's Guide to Breakups, I'll help you get clear on what you want, so you can be happy and free in whichever direction that takes you.
